EXPERIMENTING WITH NUNOFELT

Ci pensavo da un po' ma mi mancava il coraggio .....
Finalmente mi sono decisa ed ecco le prime prove di nunofeltro.
Ho lavorato su piccole superfici, per sperimentare...... e fare il minor danno possibile.

I had been thinking about it since a while but never tried to make it....
I finally got to an end and here we go.....my first nunofelt attempts.
I worked with small silk surfaces in order to experiment and not to cause a heavy damage.

Ecco il risultato....dopo aver tanto massaggiato e rollato circa 600 volte.

And this is it....after having massaged for long and rolled about 600 times.


Un quadrotto fatto con juta e prefeltri di merino.

Aggiungo due collane di feltro e cernit nero e grigio.

I also made these two black and gray necklaces made of felt and cernit.

TOOK A WALK ON THE COUNTRYSIDE....

Qualche giorno fa sono stata in campagna.
I colori della Natura sono bellissimi in questo periodo dell'anno.
Un tripudio di marroni, gialli ocra, verdi pallidi e sfumature d'argento.

Mi piace assemblare le componenti di legno , una dopo l'altra, come formiche in fila.....

Intervallarle con pezzi di argento indiano.

Impreziosirle con una spirale di corda il cui cuore è una pietra semipreziosa...

I like assembling wood beads , one after the other, like ants in a row....

I like spacing them out with Indian silver pieces.

I like embellishing them with a string spiral whose heart is a semi-precious stone.

Mi piace lavorare con differenti forme geometriche, creare un'armonia ....Musica per me....

I like working with different shapes, recycling unlike elements, matching them to create Harmony...this is Music for me.

Non amo la perfezione, preferisco ciò che non lo è.

Mi piace mettere insieme materiali diversi e stupirmi del loro perfetto stare insieme.

I don't like perfection, I prefer what is not!

I love combining different materials and being amazed of how perfectly they match.

Può darsi che il verde e il lilla siano colori insoliti per una collana di cernit, ma a me sembra perfetta, con tutti i suoi pezzi...uno dietro l'altro...

May be green and lilac are unusual colours for a cernit necklace, but it looks perfect to me with all its beads...one after the other.....

...non amo la perfezione, preferisco ciò che non lo è......

.....Musica, Armonia per me...... uno dopo l'altro.....come formiche in fila....

I don't love perfection....I prefer what is not.....

...my bunch of seven....oops...of eight is Music, Harmony for me, one after the other....like ants in a row..

Dopo un mese di mare azzurro, finalmente un po' di verde......domani si parte, destinazione Umbria!

Mother's day...mom of 7 goes shopping!!!

Non l'ho mai detto prima, ma oggi voglio farlo.....sono mamma di 7 figli ...e felice di esserlo !

I've never said that before, but I want to do it today.....I'm a mom of 7 kids...and I'm happy to be !

Oggi è la festa della mamma e noi abbiamo trascorso una splendida giornata al Vulcano Buono, grande centro commerciale vicino Nola, Napoli.

Today is mother's day and we spent a beautiful day at the Vulcano Buono, a big Mall in Naples area.
